Nytol

I bought the heavy duty one that requires you to swallow one pill 20 mins before bedtime.
I had two hours' sleep in the afternoon to make up for none the night before, then went to bed around 10.30 and didn't wake up till 9.17 am.

My conclusion is that Nytol works - too well, as I still feel half asleep at 2.30 in the afternoon. I shall try taking just half a tablet next time.

*Nudges Hydra, who's asleep on her keyboard and in danger of waking up with a qwerty face.*

WAKEY! WAKEY!

I love the idea of a qwerty face! It's a very hungover face this morning. Met up with friends in London for a post-birthday meal, and too much fizzy wine. Stayed with a friend and just got back. Very fragile indeed. Serves me right! Chilli prawns didn't help much, either. I shouldn't have eaten those with my ulcer, but by then I was flying high and past caring!

Oh dear, Hydra. Well, at least you had fun getting ill!

Re the Nytol. My daughter, who uses it, said to start off with the lower dose version because you'll have nothing to move up to when/if it stops working.

You asked me how to add my blog your blog in the sidebar. Click on 'Customise' (top right). In the 'Layout' tab, go to 'Add A Page Element' and add what you want, i.e. 'Blogs I Like' and the url of my blog or whatever blog you want to link to. Click 'Save' and go back to your blog. You can drag the 'element' to the right, left or bottom of your blog, depending on where you want it to appear.

Incidentally, I've been adding to my blog since the 'balloon' incident.

I was wondering about putting some of my poetry and illustrations on but was wondering where I'd stand with my copyright. Do you know if it's enough to just put your own copyright notice?

I don't know where you stand with copyright. I suppose if you add the little (c) sign and date it, that's some kind of protection. It might be worth Googling internet and copyright and seeing what's up there.
