The incredible Susan Boyle

Just listened to Susan Boyle singing Cry Me a River, and watched her stunning the judges on Britain's Got Talent. What an amazing lady. She gives me hope! In fact, she probably gives hope to every closet singer of a certain age who thought their dreams were consigned to mothballs.

I don't watch the show but did follow your links after getting curious about what I'd read in the papers. She lookw like a farmer's wife but sings like a feisty angel. I do hope no one tries to 'make her over a la Hollywood style, or she does not let them if they do. She's just perfect as she is, if she would just let me pluck her eyebrows. Seriously? The track recorded in 1999 shows her voice off much better than the 'Got Talent' track from Les Mis.

I agree. I don't think the Les Mis suited her vocal range. And it wasn't dynamic and emotional enough. (Thinks... if her eyebrows are that hairy, what about her..... legs?)

Let's not go there, Hydra. LOL
